Red Cross Helping Typhoon Victims in Philippines

PHILIPPINES (TEC News), November 13 - A massive typhoon recently hit the Philippines on Friday, killing close to 2,300 people. The American Red Cross is raising money to send over to help with food, shelter, water and other necessities. Bob Meyer, Red Cross Executive Director for South Central Region says this natural disaster is the hardest to help with since airports were shut down and roads were blocked:
Bob 1 : “This is really one of the tougher logistical nightmares that response agencies have had.”

Meyer says people can donate online at redcross.org or by bringing in a check to 105 Homestead Drive in Mankato.
